This stunning quilt has been beautifully handcrafted by the Siddi community an African Indian community in Karnataka central India. They are descendants from when the British colonized India and you can see the strong African influence in the abstract design and colour choice. This quilt was a bit if a challenge for them as was made in different shades of neutrals.
